Steve’s beloved LA Dodgers, his backup team, faced hard times in the playoffs. Dag had a great night of rock with Expo’76 at Simon’s. Janet received an order of Sanders (how do *you* pronounce it?) hot fudge in the mail, and it sparked an assortment of memories. She tends to agonize over finding the perfect gift, as opposed to Steve “Gift Card” Dahl. The NYT games page provides lots of night time diversions for world-weary brains.
