Disco Demo Turns 33 and 1/3
About This Episode
To help commemorate the 33rd anniversary of Disco Demolition back in 2012, we offered up a compilation of some of the more interesting moments from that legendary evening, and the documentaries and whatnot that followed in the years to come. This was a night that changed many lives forever, and quite possibly saved rock and roll. I mean, the Stones put out a disco record. Not homophobic, not racist; just a lot of fun on a Thursday evening in July on the Southside in 1979. You had to be there to understand it, not born 20 years after it happened to blog about it. But we digress. We hope you're enjoying this week of classic Dahl Archives shows. We're back on Monday September 4th with a lot to talk about.
