|11/23/2013||00:00||This Grab Bag features several “celebrities”- Our favorite lunkhead Gary Dotson, who gets arrested again for not appearing in court, Steve as Dan Dierdorf (since the real Dan would not return their phone calls), Jim Bakker's gay sex slave story, a dramatic reading from Cliff of “My Name Is Cocaine”, and an in studio visit from the always feisty, Grandpa Munster (Al Lewis).||Steve Dahl, Garry Meier, Steve and Garry, Chicago radio, The Steve Dahl Podcast Network, funny podcasts, Top rated podcast, Gary Dotson, Al Lewis, Grandpa Munster|
On this grab bag Descent, voiceover guy and car enthusiast Jan Gabriel of US 30 drag strip fame, is on the phone. He talks about how the drag strip commercials came about. Assistant producer Harry, gets into an accident with Steve’s car. Steve is not happy, and belittles Harry but it backfires on him. Steve talks about Midwest vs. California ideals. There is some Robby Benson bashing and pre-MILF liking of middle aged women like Diane Sawyer. Plus a guy sues CBS for copyright infringement for “This Girl is Mine”. Today's Descent is Part Two from WCKG on October 26, of 2005. Steve, Buzz and Wendy still have White Sox Fever. Craig Gass is in studio, with stories about Al Pacino, Alec Baldwin and the time Steve was on The King Of Queens. As an extra, Steve was put behind a brick wall so as not to bee seen, and served no purpose whatsoever. He thought it was better to just leave the set instead of deal with the Hollywood hierarchy, and can see why famous people act like jerks most of the time. Since when you're working your way up, you get treated so poorly most of the time.
Steve is also still trying to live down the week Craig spent in Chicago impersonating the deaf woman on the Channel 7 News At 11:00.

Today's Descent is from WCKG in October of 2005. Steve, Buzz and Wendy have White Sox Fever. Craig Gass is stopping by, but Steve is reluctant to have him in the studio because before podcasting, he actually cared about a government agency called the FCC.
The broadcast recaps the previous night’s epic 14-inning game and the overwhelming suspense in the Dahl house during the game as well as their new post game ritual. Steve recalls his baseball days as a pitcher, as Astros pitcher Roy Oswalt takes a page out his Steve’s book by intentionally hitting a batter on a 3-0 count, and discusses Astros manager Phil Garner’s bad blood with the White Sox
