Steve Goes For The Hat Trick

Just got back from Kohler Waters in Burr Ridge where I got a massage with an unhappy ending. This one hour a day podcast schedule is grueling and a man needs to stay loosened up. They have the best shower in the men’s locker room there because the Kohler bathroom fixture company owns them. It’s the kind that acts like a regular shower, has a showerhead up on the ceiling and has three jets that shoot at you from the wall too. I gave myself my own happy ending in the locker room (JK). The actual waterfall that they have in the center of the spa seemed to be closed for repairs, but the shower in the locker room is as good as a waterfall, and you can be naked in it.

Janet is actually shopping in Burr Ridge for a birthday present for our housekeeper. She wanted to have dinner there, but she graciously allowed me to come home and watch he Blackhawks game instead. I haven’t had dinner yet, and I’m hoping that she calls the house and offers to pick something up. I have already managed to avoid moving furniture today (as heard on today’s DahlCast), I’m now enjoying the Blackhawks instead of dinner at a restaurant and the bring home of carryout would make it a married guy non-sexual hat trick for today. The Blackhawks seem to be taking a lot of penalties so far in tonight’s game. Maybe they are paying for my sins. There’s also some good on-air banter with Janet on today’s DahlCast.

On Friday’s DahlCast will be speaking with Jeff Joniak, about the upcoming Bears game Sunday. I know the Browns seem like a patsy team, but I’m actually a little bit concerned about this game. Either way, it’s a lose lose for the Bears. If they beat the Browns, then they are doing what’s expected. If they lose, then that’s a nightmare of epic proportions and the beginning of the end for everybody involved. I would like to have seen the Bears get healthy with a stronger opponent. Either way, I’ll be there on Sunday rooting them on, because that’s what I do. I really don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t have the Bears to root for. It’s really an important part of my week, and helps keep me sane during the Chicago winter. Well, as sane as can be expected.
