Fire In The Pie Hole
The weather was pretty cloudy down here in Florida on Sunday, so I was able to justify staying inside and watching both NFL Championship games. I did leave the house earlier on the day to go workout at Planet Fitness (usually I reside on Planet Fatness), so I was also able to justify knocking back 16 mini tacos during the NFC Championship game. I don’t care what anybody says, I refuse to hate Brett Favre. Yes, he irritates me with his crybaby tactics and his constant undecided nature, but if you’ve ever seen an NFL Films montage of Favre “mic-ed up” during a game you have to love the guy. I feel pretty bad for him, since the Vikings all but had the game won, but that’s the way the pigskin bounces. I hate the Vikings, but I just can't hate Brett Favre. I got so freaked out by the intensity of the game that at one point in the 4th quarter I made myself some food just to calm myself down. I almost had a kitchen fire making those mini tacos, i bought last week because I decided to fry them in a frying pan, and there was a piece of black plastic that came from somewhere and ended up on the heating element. Luckily, the taste of frozen mini tacos isn’t really affected by the smell and or taste of burnt plastic.

Can you believe the beating
Can you believe the beating Brett Favre took tonight? As tired as he looked BEFORE the game, I'll be really surprised if he comes back next season.
I don't hate Brett Favre either. I'm a life long Bears fan but I've enjoyed watching him play, except when he was beating the Bears. The guy has played exceptionally and with such enthusiasm for 19 seasons. How can a true football fan not like the guy?
Colts vs Saints, eh? It should be a good game...although I really wanted to see Brett Favre vs Peyton Manning. That would have been a fun Super Bowl to watch. A matchup of two of the best QBs ever.
